Liturgy Commission
That the bishop re-establishes a Diocesan Liturgy Commission which will
coordinate
education, ongoing training and models of good practice in the preparation
and celebration of the liturgy.
a) That the Diocesan Liturgy Commission establishes a Diocesan Music Committee as a sub-committee.
It will provide guidance, training and resources for the use of music in the celebration of
the sacraments and other liturgies.
b) The Mass is the supreme expression of the bond between the praying community and
Christ. However, there is a whole variety of other liturgies which
can enrich the life of a parish. The Diocesan Liturgy Commission will work
with others to develop a programme of training for lay people to lead various liturgies
and occasions of prayer.
