Diocesan Adoration Committee Launched in the Diocese of Cork & Ross

A group of 58 lay people, sent as delegates by parishes throughout the Cork and Ross diocese, has been in formation and training for the past four months, in preparation for the setting up of a Diocesan Eucharistic Adoration Committee for the whole diocese.

Booking for the Eucharistic Congress has to be done online at: http://www.iec2012.ie/registration.
The cost of accommodation is not included!
Costs are as follows:
* 7 days 95 Euro 10th - 17th June
* 3 days 60 Euro (any 3 consecutive days) 10th -16th June.

Tribute to Fr. John O'Callaghan RIP.

A Months Mind Mass for Fr. John was celebrated in All Saints Church, Drimoleague on Friday, January 27th at 8.00pm. The late Fr. John O'Callaghan was Parish Priest of Drimoleague until he retired due to failing health in mid 2011. He was then welcomed by the SMA Community in Blackrock Road where he was cared for until his death on December 9th 2011. .
